The studio had a nice fall break Monday and Tuesday… Wish that could last longer but –>
Back to work!! Before we left for fall break last Friday we painted lots of our boards with one of our colors: French Toast. We spent a lot of time deciding the color palette for our walls/structure/trellis. We spent lots of studio time flipping through color wheels, digital models, renders to see what looks good. Getting samples and going outside and testing the angles/position it would realistically sit in the shade or sun. Who knew that would be the most difficult decision to make. We also pretty much completed our mock-up wall assembly.
Now we are continuing to paint, cut steel for the trellis and weld the frame. We rearranged the metal room to efficiently work yesterday. Photographed is David lifting up the table he said “isn’t that heavy” clearly it was easy for him (tomato face).
