Today is an exciting day for Studio V! We’ve finished our work in the shop constructing all of the pieces for the Old Towne Creek Donor Wall, and today we start building on site. The columns were the last pieces for us to finish up, and so after we bring them out onto site we’ll start setting them into the ground. Later today, we’ll spend studio out on the site working to build the wall.
Community 1:1 has also been bringing me down into the shop, as I have started to build my native bee hotel. Over spring break, I was able to order all of the supplies and accessories needed, and this past weekend the supplies were dropped off at the center. Now I’m beginning to construct all of the elements that will make up the bee hotel, and will be fully constructing it in the shop before bringing it out to Mulberry Park to set it in the ground.
