Can’t wait to do some trotting!

Our dogtrot is one of the coolest features of our kitchen design. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to install it yet because our Cypress wood has been held up in Atlanta until Friday. For the dogtrot, we will install cypress for the decking, walls, and ceiling. I especially look forward to that “punched out” feeling that the dogtrot will provide by offering a warming feeling as you approach the metal clad facade and transition into the contrasting cypress skinned dogtrot. The majority of us in Studio V have also been in professor Pastre’s other class, Intro to Craft. I really enjoyed the look and feel of wood before, but his ITC class has given me a new appreciation for aesthetics and the intangible inviting feeling that wood can provide.
