Friday was a big day for the studio group as we traveled to the headquarters of the Conservancy. After our presentation with them Wednesday, we needed a bit more feedback in order to confidently move forward with the design. At the HQ, the plan was to bring the physical models and printed drawings to be laid out around the house. Each group took a section of the house which allowed board members to intermingle through the different projects.
These were casual conversations and presentations to collect as much information as possible about our designs. The big focus was to find what was working and what was not working in each project.
The conservancy kindly offered us drinks which set a relaxed and fun social tone for the event. With 10+ board members rolling through the projects, numerous perspectives and thoughts about the projects was shared. To document this feedback, note sheets were printed for all the board members while us students took notes in addition.
Tuesday we will come into studio to debrief our feedback.
