On Friday, the four groups quickly presented to each other in order for us to truly understand what our designs are about. Having these early two minute presentations makes you really think about the key ideas that drive your project. The feedback from these quick talks is also valuable because a fresh set of eyes can always help to inspire new ideas or thoughts.
After the small presentations, we all continued our design work. The wildcard group is working with moving walls under one roof to create a versatile, multifunctional space that can serve the needs of the Conservancy and the sweetgrass basket weavers. So far we are thinking one stand will slide into the other two to form a stage like meeting area for larger events. Our next steps are to figure out how the roof works and how the walls will be able to display goods.
