Today was an eventful day! After a productive meeting with the studio consultants, we began working on individual design, preparing for studio on Friday. In these first iterations, we are focusing on site options and massing potentials

After classes today, MaKayla shared our initial research and precedent studies with the CAF. Somehow she was able to rehash the research all twenty of us did on her own! Hamilton also shared his perspective on taking the Historic Preservation minor over the summer, and how that has affected his mindset going forward in architecture. The diversity of background in our studio will surely help as we continue to design the sweetgrass basket stands.
Lastly, we finished the night socializing with donors of the CAF and local architects at a firm downtown, Synchrinosity!
