Starting yesterday, we decided to work in groups on a shift basis to be efficient with our times. Crews were determined based on their class schedules yesterday. Several students had a meeting for a mentorship class between noon and 1.00. We kicked off the day with a crew starting to paint and another crew cutting, grinding and welding steel at 1.30. Painting crew worked on painting some of the trellis members and loaded them into the trailer for it to be transported to site. Steel crew came back later to finish all the steel welding.
Today as we head into one of the critical weekends in our schedule, a crew is moving steel to the site and assessing the site after the storm. Remaining students will stay back in the shop and continue painting and organising steel. Plans for this weekend will be determined based on the site assessment today.
