This past weekend we made a great deal of progress on site. With all columns, beams, and rafters in place, the main structure was finally completed. This was an exciting moment as it gave us an actual sense of what the pavilion will be like, which is a bit larger than anticipated, but that was rather an exciting surprise for all of us. Another exciting moment was the installation of the gutter. Considered by us as the central focus of the project, it now gives passersby (if look closely) a glimpse of the main themes in the project.
Going into the last week, there is still a lot of work to be done. At the site, a team will continue working on secondary elements for the roof and furniture, while at the shop another team will finish fabrication for the louvers and the vertical garden.
