Definitely a few more things stirring than mice here at the Clemson Architecture Center. Everyone is getting ready for the review tomorrow. The pressure is on with fifteen or so people scheduled to be at our review; as students we will be outnumbered two to one! Working in this second phase has been more enjoyable, in my opinion, than the last phase of individual design. We were able to bounce ideas off of each other and come up with some pretty intriguing ideas. Of course, we could keep designing and refining for weeks, but unfortunately we don’t have that kind of time.
My group, Team A as we’ve been calling ourselves (we’re Team A and the other group is Team 1), met on Saturday at Joel’s apartment to sit down to work for a few hours and Joel made us some delicious shrimp tacos. When we left we divided up the jobs that were left and completed most of them on Sunday.
Rendering has always been one of the most enjoyable parts of studio projects. I didn’t have time to get very intricate with the renderings but I think they still turned out well. The challenge was to make them detailed, yet still make them match the minimal use of color on the rest of our boards.
