This past week, the class was tasked with optimizing designs of the partition walls, and the trellis while experimenting overall with the materials in the shop. Pictured in this blog post, are a couple of the ideas that we ran through for the partition wall at a variety of scales. We ended up going in the direction of the larger partition scheme to tell the story on who will be working within them. Those people being the sweet grass artisans. As a studio, we will be carrying on doing more iterations of the walls digitally and physically until we are satisfied.
