First day on-site! Our project must “Go West” just like the objectively great Village People song. Or, more accurately, orient west, due west to be precise. After identifying reference trees and using triangulation to spray paint column locations, we realized the pavilion needed to shift location slightly north from what was originally marked on the site plan. A conversation with Sean revealed the property line location and that the current pavilion placement would intercept the required 15-foot side setback. Additionally, site lines to a grand oak with beautifully sculpted branches and a more smooth transition into nature trails led to the decision to reorient the center of the pavilion due west. Therefore, we Go West (while actually moving north, but you get the idea)!
