Getting back into the groove this semester hasn’t been easy for anyone, but things are really starting to pick up pace. It has been all hands on deck to get material counts, design, adjustments/changes, and an updated cost estimate completed. As we work through these details we are discovering things that were never really flushed out or addressed. The image here of David was taken shortly after we told him about one of the challenges we ran into with our rafter beams being too long.
This part of the process is a great example of how things don’t always go smoothly in this studio. We face challenges, but we must move through them. Every obstacle is an opportunity to learn, improve, and ultimately create a stronger and more successful project.
