Today, the studio made major progress. We’ve officially finished up most of the remaining shop work! The columns, truss, cross bracing, and rafters are all complete, and over half of the purlins have been sanded and stained. We even loaded up the first truckload of pieces to head to the site. All left to do in the shop is finish up the last half of purlins and then were all on-site!
While half of the studio team today was focused on finishing up fabrication, the other half was out on-site, stringing out and prepping the area for the diamond piers. Everything is being set in place so the columns and truss can be lifted and installed soon.
We’re getting close now and it’s starting to feel very real for us all now! Soon, we’ll be assembling on-site!
