In shop today, the class took shifts in finalizing the stain on the rest of the purlins in preparation for installation this coming weekend. After today, we only have a few more tasks left to complete in the shop before final installation. We will need to cut shims to fit the columns into the Simpson plates and drill holes for the columns to attach to these plates. We are all excited to get out onto site for construction!
Community 1:1 was a nice workday. A few of us have finished our work, while everyone else is nearing completion. I have walked around and checked out a few of my classmates presentation boards, and they are all turning out quite nice.
Tonight, a few team members caught the Riverdogs game! I was not one of them, but enjoy a few photos I was sent.
