With the prefab of our Plymouth Park structure underway, this week we had teams head out to finish up some of the roofing at Old Towne Creek and then Plymouth to start to prep our site for the build, as well as a team that stayed in the shop to continue to build. This week in the shop, we’ve been working on completing all of our columns and cross-bracing. After working on creating the jig for our cross-bracing, we’ve also had to think about how we’ll put together our trusses since they’re a bit more complicated than some of our other components. Our solution is to use a full-scale printed template of our truss and some wood blocks to be able to align our pieces to, ensuring that each truss can be put together accurately.
