Yes! Our Frierson site is almost ready to cut ribbons and to be opened for the school students. We crossed another milestone with site inspection and all went well. The site was inspected by Mr. Michael Barry who is an inspector and engineer from the Office of School Family. (OSF).
Another milestone was, we presented our individual designs to the members of greenheart, and the Park Conservancy, etc. They appreciated different ideas and features from our designs that they liked and encouraged us to work in that direction. They gave us constructive feedback on our designs and pointed out a few more challenges on the site like the electric poles and how to deal with them.
The best thing that happened to me this week was reading the book, let my people go surfing. It rekindled my soul in my efforts of working towards our environment. I am sharing a trivial effort from my side to save or reuse papers. There were a bunch of papers which were spoiled by spilled water on them. All of our family members rejected them, so I created a rough notebook out of them by tying them together with ties that I had saved from grocery bags and I am using it right now as my rough book for college. It’s a nice usable book for me.
What are you doing to conserve our environment in the path of saving our planet and nature? I would love to know about your efforts! Do share it in the comments and send me pictures.
