With our final review on Friday, we have been working hard. This weekend the site crew was working on finishing the roof and belt line. The remaining purlins were put up on Saturday which meant we could begin attaching the tin roof. The long tin sheets took a team to raise. Kyle and I would position them vertically and lift them from the ground to scaffolding or a ladder and then to the roof.
Another focus on site was finishing up the belt line so that the horizontal trellis members could be added. The first step was to finish attaching the belt line together with steel plates and attaching them to the columns. Once the belt line was in place, much care was put into leveling the members because Monday they began to lay out the horizontal trellis members.
Tuesday a small crew plans to head out to site to put the finishing touches on the pavilion before our review. These last few weeks have been and will continue to be the final push!
