Final Review-As Nicole posted, we had our final review on Monday. Everyone worried about the weather that day morning, however, the weather had miraculously turned fine in the afternoon. The logo, which designed by Professor Pastre’s wife, Amy, makes the whole shed cute and shiny with recognition. Review went through fairly smoothly and easily. People enjoyed beers and barbecue, feeling free walking in and out the shed, talking about how they feel. You can’t imagine how much we satisfied about this.
One day off-Everybody enjoyed a whole day off after the review. Six of us have taken a wonderful field trip to Old Sheldon Church, Beaufort and Savannah. It is so nice that we don’t have to think about anything although city walk makes me feel a little bit tired. I love the Southern United States. You can never capture such tranquil sceneries in the North.
Truss-We need to re-structure our truss pieces so that they could hold the whole roof more stably while hurricane comes. Professor Pastre is going to meet our structure instructor to discuss which way is effective, then some of us may help during this weekend.
Painting-Today Ashley, Stacie, Lance and I went to the site and painted railings, sink and cooler door second coat with Glossy Oil Paint. We are going to paint the floor in 2 days and finish all the painting work.
Documentation-By May 1st we would have done our documentation, which gonna take everyone’s effort to organize for a while. Hopefully more farmers would love our design.
Experience-Countless experience I’ve gained through this semester, but the most important thing that I want everybody know is, Never use oily coating!!! You will never understand how trouble handling it and cleaning it is.
Last Post– I like difficult as well as how I like sweet. I like both of them coming to me at the same time, so I like Studio V! I am Elppa! See you guys!
