As we all prepare for the upcoming small group design review next Wednesday, this week of studio starts the final design push before we switch to documenting our projects. By this point, groups have set their site design strategies and have been refining what the structure looks like, aiming to be complete with major design at the end of the week.
Thinking through connection details, feasibility (of cost and construction), and user experience are becoming increasingly more important throughout this small group design phase.
We look forward to meeting with our Historic Preservation counterpart next class for input to implement before production mode begins.
