For the past little while the class has been on site, rushing to get everything built for Wednesday. Over the weekend, all the furniture was welded, grinded, and painted. Additionally, the central columns were placed, and the central beams were installed. Today, we put up the outer columns, which was followed by the outer beams being installed.
The class did run into some minor issues, such as the benches being located and placed too far away from the central spine of the structure. As a result, the outer beams were not able to be properly installed. We had to remove the outer beams, move them closer to the center by 8 inches, and then re-attach the outer beams. At this point the class is looking forward to installing the rafters and T&G roofing in preparation for our presentation this coming Wednesday.
