Field Studies

We are getting into the routine of classes and Field Studies this year is taught by David! The structure of the class is similar to the class he took in Genoa in ’99 (before most of us in the class were born!). Yesterday was the first full class out sketching around the peninsula.  A few of us chose to sketch near Rainbow Row at the corner of East Bay and Adgers. This class is a great break from regular classes to walk around the city and find some beautiful buildings to draw. I am excited to continue to develop my sketching skills in both quality and speed. Here are a couple of my sketches so far – I will update later in the semester with progress!!

I also had a great time decorating my sketchbook 🙂

Lastly, to close this out – I walked Schem Creek and there was a gorgeous sunset.
