Today, we convened to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the C.A.C.C. The event brought together current students, faculty, community leaders, and alumni to engage in conversations spanning the center’s history, its current state, and its future. The day was marked by dialogues held during group discussions, which were guided by a thought-provoking prompt designed to facilitate meaningful conversations for people from of all backgrounds present. The centers involvement with the university and the city of Charleston were major topics discussed. These conversations inspired all participants to contemplate ways in which we can enhance the center or commemorate its achievements.
Afterwards more guests were invited to celebrate over some delicious food, drinks, and good times. This is a great time for us to get to continue conversations from earlier discussions and get to know more folks who have had a role in the success of our program.
