As we finalize our full studio group design, we’re beginning to put together our boards to present to Meeting St. Academy on Wednesday. Last Friday, our studio got together and split up all of the drawings, putting one student in charge of each drawing over the weekend. In our presentation we want to be as clear as possible so people will be able to understand every aspect of our design. On our boards we’ll have sections drawings, axon drawings, diagrams, elevations, renders, budget summaries and even more. We also have a model group that’s laser cutting the pieces for the physical model so that they can construct it when we return.
As we work individually on our drawings over the weekend, we’ll reconvene today to redline each others drawings and improve them so that we can place them all on the boards by Tuesday and be ready to present by Wednesday. We are very excited to receive feedback from our clients so we can even further improve our design.
We are also continuing to work alongside the lightweight composite design students up at Clemson’s campus to produce a composite component as part of our project. Learning and researching about composite structure will be a crucial aspect to completing this project and we’re excited to gather new experience working with lightweight composite materials for the first time.
