The fall semester is off and the Clemson Community-Build program is back in action. Returning their second season on the field, 6 students brave their second semester at Mulberry Street. But don’t worry, 8 rookies have joined the team, but with the fast pace of a typical community build program, they won’t remain rookies for long.
Catching everyone up to speed, the students split up to do research on the site, gather info on the community, prepare the woodshop, and do some maintenance on past CB projects. We finished out the first week with a walk at Mulberry street to explore the new site and meet with Leslie Wade from the Charleston Parks Conservancy and Jason Kronsberg from the Parks Department to discuss the needs of the community and how we can help.
