Last time you heard from us we were getting into our construction documents, trying to finalize our roof design, and meeting with the structural engineer. We then went on spring break and after 10 long and relaxing days we are back! Some of us went away while others had a staycation and explored the beautiful city of Charleston!
Over the break many of us had fun, but now we must get back to business. During the break, a couple people had to make a few changes to the foundation plans and design so that we could get the final documents to the structural engineer before we came back.
In the next few days, we are hoping to finalize our design. This means we need a finalized cost estimation, design for the roof, and path design. This is critical because we have decided to start placing the pilons in the site for the first week of April and we are hoping to get a grant for the path!
