In the homestretch…

Studio V is working hard in preparation for Review #2 on Monday!  As the four teams of three students narrow down their ideas, 3D digital models are composed and will soon be translated into physical scaled models for the clients to explore.

My team is focusing on a 4-ft grid system to base the program’s placement and structure on, as the ideal space planning of our proposed multi-functional furniture modules.  Within this grid, our design loosely implies the kitchen triangle theory (which briefly depicts a triangular movement between the range, sink, and refrigerator), for efficient circulation in this small 450 sq. ft. farm stand footprint.  Below are some precedent images to depict how we plan to solve multi-functional storage components, by designing for versatility and adaptability.
