The weekend was a super productive one. The rafters were assembled after being cut to the right sizes, getting beautiful tapered ends and being treated with stain and epoxy.
The columns were also cut, prepared and the went up Sunday afternoon: it was an all hands on deck kinda day. One of the biggest lessons of the day is lining up everything correctly and making sure everything is SQUARE!!
As we move through the week, we are expecting to have the rafters installed in place as well as the gutter posts. This means more time will be spent on the site – so sunscreen will come in clutch!! ( and bug spray, LOTS OF BUG SPRAY)
