Today, Monday February 2nd, we met at the shop in Charleston. We loaded up all of the kitchen supplies for the Crop Stop 1 and delivered it on Johns Island. The kitchen appliances includes- an oven, a stove top, a stainless steel sink, a drying rack, stainless steel shelves. In order to get the supplies to Johns Island safely we had to strap the appliances down. To keep the appliances from moving around in the trailer we had to strap the appliances to the front and back of the trailer. We used blankets to cover the stainless steel appliances so they wouldn’t get scratched. The winds were very high today which made it very difficult to pull the trailer.
Before being able to unload the appliances once we arrived to Johns Island we had to finish the last row of the vinel flooring which had to be cut down the length of the wall and around the drain for the sink in order to fit.
We we then rolled the appliances in and set them in their places. We had to uncover the stainless steel appliances of their plastic. All that needs to be done now is the utilitie lines need to be hooked up for the appliances in the kitchen.
Now that the floor is done and the appliances are in place, the Crop Stop 1 is starting to actually look like a kitchen. The stainless steel appliances add a nice clean, modern look to to the kitchen.
