After returning from a restful weekend, we were very pleased to see the dome still held its form from last Thursday night. Today was an important day as well. We made final touches to the dome to make sure it has the durability to withstand the pressure of a numerous amount of people and touch up some of the painting as well as some of the lashing. Another task we took on today that we’ve all been dying to see is a major cleanup. Tomorrow we are grilling out at the shop to celebrate our completion of the dome, and also our way of showing how much we appreciate the individuals that have helped and supported us during the building process. I must say that today has been filled with a lot of smiling and pleasant faces.
