The pavilion is intriguing as it requires us to constantly plan ahead. To ensure that we have what we need when we need it, we must decide what to order now. As a result, we have completed the hardware count today, which includes through bolts, lap screws, carriage bolts, timber screws, Titen HD screw Anchor along with washers and nuts. It is very interesting to know the different types of screws and bolts, their prices, their applications, and why we need that particular bolt at that particular junction.
We are currently cutting wooden members as required, and drilling holes in 2″ x 10″ members. A part of the crew is working on jigs while some are building mockups. While working on mock-ups, we realized that we would need additional shop drawings. So a few of us worked on the shop drawings.
We can’t wait to get started working on the site and see the pavilion rise up in pride!
