After a long and productive semester, we present the fruits of our labor. The nice thing about being in the Charleston campus is that we have a more intimate setting, and we all are able to see each other’s work. Yesterday was full of exciting activities. First ITC went out to the Isle of Palms beach inlet to test out their kites. That was really exciting. the skies were clear, and the sun was shining, and the kites were flying!
Once the fun was done, we came back to the center to watch Bradfords class to present our projects. Since the class is small, we went pretty quickly. It was nice to see the materiality in a peel away axon. Everyone chose to highlight and focus and different aspects of the design. Some decided to focus on creative wall assemblies’ such as cladding or structural design.
Since all good things must come to an end the center put on a really exciting Christmas party! There were awards, music and we were all having a great time. Some students brough their mentors to enjoy in the festivities! The time at the center was so unique in comparison to the main campus that it makes it sad to see it come to a close. Since this coming semester is a lot of ours last semester before we graduate this was kind of bittersweet. Let’s see where the next chapter takes us.
