Presentation Day

After countless hours of none stop work, the team finished up all the deliverables for the Frierson Elementary presentation. The team met back up at the cigar factory, before they heading over to the school. When we arrived we set up the room for the presentation in a way that the kids would be able to see all boards and be close to the physical model. The team broke themselves up into groups of three-four to present each board, and to point out what was being explained on the model.

When the team was finished presenting, the kids of Frierson Elementary schools fourth and fifth grade classes asked some questions to get a better understanding of the project, and gave some feedback on some aspects that they enjoyed. The kids were then dismissed, and the team went over the project with some of the faculty and parents of the school. The faculty had some amazing feedback on some design decision, and helpful tips about the greenhouse guidelines. After the small discussion, the team went over the timeline of what they were planning to achieve next. We also explained to the faculty that after the whole process, they would still be coming back to site every few years to do maintenance. We then took the poster boards and hung them up of the sim-ply structure that we built week before.
