Dissolve, disperse

About three and a half months ago this team was assembled. For better and worse, these are the people we have been with day and night for a great deal of that time. Now, having completed our task. it is time for this team to dissolve. It is time to depart the great city of Charleston, SC (for all but one of us) and take our lessons learned to a new challenge that waits for us in either Clemson or Barcelona. I think it is fair to say that we are all experiencing some combination of happiness and sadness (“What now” & “Bring on the Tears” have touched on this.)

Some of us are taking the time to do a little salsa dancing, others are spending more money on a steak than they would on a pair of pants, and we are all enjoying some of the great things that Charleston has to offer. As I write this, two fellow Detroiters are lacing up their shoes preparing for a night of live music, cheap beer, and maybe a brownie if I can talk them into it.

So disperse as we shall, each member of this team will not be forgotten. I would like to thank each of you for your energy, commitment, knowledge, skill, craft and so much more. It has been an absolute pleasure and I look forward to working with you in the future. Tonight I drink to y’all.

With Love,

Joseph
