Making Room

On Wednesday, we continued working toward completing components for the pavilion as well as our Metanoia installations. After working out design challenges and coordinating with partners, each group had all of their main components ready to deliver to Reynolds Avenue. This timed up well with the progress on the pavilion for the Conservancy of the Sea Islands. Now that all of the wall components have been run through the CNC we have more space dedicated to fabrication. Doing test fits, we did notice that there are areas that the wall components do not come completely flush to each other. Pictured below, Tyler is using scrap wood as a solution to this problem. He is planing it down to size ao that we can use it for creating shims to solidfy the walls.
