In the wake of the new semester, all thirteen students are hard at work repairing and touching up some of the builds of the previous years. This will allow all of the students to get some practice on low stakes projects to get our feet wet in the world of construction and building.

My two partners and I are in the midst of breathing some life into the redwood railings of the Forest Park bridge build. The railing has been weathered to the point that those who cross it cannot experience the original color and vibrance of the railing. By sanding the railing, filling in cracks with epoxy, and eventually coating it with polyurethane, the railing will be given some “pop”.

Thanks!
Everyone in West Ashley loves that sweet bridge as well as the other structures built at Mulberry Park. It has really helped to continue the community.
