Magnolia Gardens Oyster Cooker

Cooking oysters on a sheet of metal over an open flame is a venerated tradition in the low country. The oyster cooker above is more elaborate than the sawhorses that many people use. The Community Build Team Is constructing a similar one in the new pavilion we are building at Old Town Creek Count Park in West Ashley.  We have unofficially dubbed it the “Oyster Shed.” We think it will be a great addtion to all of the other fun things being added to the park while it is under renovations. Looking forward to  the park resuming  Wine Down Wednesdays.
