The Original St Andrews Misson Church

The Current Church

St. Andrews Mission Church

This Semester several students have been creating documents, doing structural inspections and code study of the fellowship hall of the church. The goal is to help the church raise funds to repair the building so that they can continue to serve the St. Andrews and greater Charleston community. There are no longer any historic buildings on the site, but the church has a history of serving the community since before the civil war. The Church has been a keystone of the African American Community for over 200 years and has continuing mission to serve all in need. It has been a privilege to get to know some of the church leadership and to help in any way that we can. Special thanks to the Historic Charleston Foundation for connecting us with the church and all of their assistance.  Also, thanks to the consultants who have given their time and effort to help make this possible.
