Good morning, Happy Wednesday!
Yesterday was our first studio of the week and we dove right into progressing our build. The girls started working on slab foundation details, revit sheet detailing, and material counts. The boys headed down into the shop to start organizing and preparing for pre-fab by organizing drill bits, and other miscellaneous items.
We got some great feedback from CCP’s and we are continuing to design and work out details and plans.
This past weekend I headed to St. Augustine to celebrate my best friend Abbey getting married to her high school sweetheart Mason. It was a great weekend and reminded me of the importance of having balance while in architecture school. I was amazed by the architecture, beauty and urban design of Saint Augustine. It inspired me as an architect and designer to see the historical architecture of the city. I also met a local artist named Jenna Alexander and was greatly inspired by her career and art studio in downtown.
This week we will be working hard each working on an important part of the project in order to progress on creating a CD set to send to the city.
