Good morning!! There is a crispness to the air this morning in Charleston, and I can feel fall coming. Not sure if it’s just for this first hour of the day or if it’s here to stay now.
Yesterday, our studio met with the legend John Moore. He is our structural engineer, and he really helped us out with our pavilion yesterday. It was great watching him work and hearing his knowledge and expertise. I am excited to use his knowledge to further our design.
Our class is getting ready for a busy semester, completing orientation and class lectures, and getting back into the swing of classes and our internships every day. I am happy to be back and looking forward to the semester’s work, building my arm muscles with community build, and my brain getting filled with new knowledge, too.
I had a great summer of rest, work, and time with close friends and family. This semester, on top of our program, three of my friends are getting married in the next 6 months, and there are so many happy things to look forward to outside of class as well as inside.
Last night, I completed my first fantasy football draft, and I got all the players I wanted and am repping Clemson alum (Trevor, Tee, and Etienne) along with the king himself, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Coming from a girl who has never paid any attention to football, I am excited to beat my boyfriend and his best friends and their girlfriends, his sister and his 11-year-old brother and win the whole thing….. But if anyone could please inform me how fantasy football works, please get in touch with me.
Happy Wednesday! Woo!
