I have been working with Green Heart Project this semester for my Non-Profit Partnership. I am currently working on designing and building a mobile garden washing station for the members of Green Heart’s community gardens. These garden washing stations will allow the community gardeners to be able to wash their produce on site.
I first started by looking at a series of precedents to inspire my design based on what Green Heart Project was looking to get out of the project. Then I drew up some ideas and kept reworking it until I reached the final design!
Next I made a detailed cost estimate with a list of all of the specific materials I will need to build the prototype for this design. I sent the materials list to Kimberly at Green Heart Project this past Monday and she is going to be ordering all the materials from Lowe’s within the next week.
