Happy Friday! Everyone’s favorite day of the week (mine at least)! This week we finally have teamed up for our group designs of Old Towne Creek. Before Spring Break, we had an individual design review with Matt, one of the planners for Charleston County Parks. When we came back this week, Matt had shared some notes and surveys from other employees which really kickstarted where we are now which is… 1. We have nailed down a tentative spot of where it will be on site!! and 2. We have a better idea of how it will be used (especially during Wine Down Wednesday).
Now the three groups are rocking and rolling on group designs that will be presented a week from now. With more hands on these projects, we should have more baked concepts that hopefully will include structurally sound designs, utilization diagrams, rendered views, cost estimates, and a physical model. Jared, Clay, and I have teamed up for this portion trying to synthesize a way to implement some of the highlights from our individual projects. More to come so stay tuned!
