LDOC!

Wow! What a semester it’s been. Today is our last day of regular classes, and all of our presentations and final projects will be this upcoming week. While there have been many exciting things this semester, let’s take a trip down memory lane and recap a few of my favorite things so far.

#1: Our first day on site at Singleton. Working on-site can mean a list of different things so I never really knew what to expect when we headed to Singleton that first day. Now I can safely say that I can dig, bend rebar, place the rebar and sidings, and make a beautiful concrete turndown slab.

#2: Weekly book club. One of my favorite things has been being able to check out local spots every week for our Community 1:1 book club. Exploring downtown in a new context was great, and I’m excited to keep trying new places.

#3: Getting to know our class: The 10 of us in A+CB have so many unique experiences, talents, and backgrounds they bring to the table so one of my favorite things has been spending so much time with this crew. It’s been great working with them so far and I can’t wait to see what the fall brings.

Tune back into the blog in August, I can’t wait to keep sharing the work we’ve worked so tirelessly on. Until then, H.A.G.S. (have a great summer)!
