Katei’s Krops is an amazing organization centered around gardening, education and feeding the less fortunate..

Monarch Medows is the area of the gardens that is designated as butterfly habitat. It includes plants that provide nectar for the mature monarchs as well as milkweed plants for the caterpillars to eat.

 The first half of the butterfly house was built by Kevin Arnold for his Community 1-1 project and was such a success that we came back and added a second module.

To add on at this orientation, we needed to rotate the roof so that overhead would not get to low.
