I was supposed to post on Friday, so I am sorry for the lack of update. BUT I have an exciting update now!
We were on site all weekend preparing the ground and foundations for our concrete slab. We started with the back hoe to get the majority of the dirt out, and then manually dug and leveled the rest. By the end of the day yesterday we had most of the rebar laid and the site prepped for concrete.
There have been many learning lessons as we go. To me, the most exciting part of this whole process is seeing our drawings come to fruition. Below you can see a progression, in photos, of the site over the weekend.
