Research & Analysis Meeting

Today we will provide members of the Charleston Parks Conservancy with an in-depth analysis of the Wagener Terrace Neighborhood and Corrine Jones Park. We are going to cover topics such as project timelines, historical information, location and nearby places of interest, neighborhood demographics, climate data that will affect the site, successful existing gardens, and a peak at several site options that we have developed. The intent of this meeting is to have a dialogue with the members of the Parks Conservancy about all considered elements of the site so that we both can move forward with confidence. A few specifics that our guests can expect to see included in today’s meeting are sun and shade studies, average household sizes in the area, inspirational designs from similar projects, variations of garden layout, and more. Our studio has been working hard this week and is excited to deliver our investigations on Corrine Jones Park. The meeting today will take place at 2:00 pm in the Old Cigar Factory.

By the end of the meeting our studio hopes to be able to get started on individual schematic design based off of the feedback that we receive from members of the Parks Conservancy.
